What is USPAP?

The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice (USPAP) are the generally accepted standards for professional appraisal practice in North America. USPAP contains standards for all types of appraisal services. Standards are included for real estate, personal property, business and mass appraisal.

For your convenience, we have included a link below to the Appraisal Foundation's web site and directly to the USPAP Guideline Publication. We encourage anyone and everyone who has a sincere interest in the valuation process to become familiar with what is considered the "Appraisers Book of Law." What follows is that link:
